Early on in 2013 I recorded some guitar and piano ideas on a tape recorder which then moved with me to an apartment I was staying at for a short time. I normally do not make acoustic music but dealing with a lot of changes in my living situation at the time I had no access to my electric instruments or drums so I figured i'd fuck around and make due. At the apartment i transferred them onto my computer with hopes to make them into something later on when i got my other gear set up and found a place to record.
Sometime in December of 2013 i came across the files from the tape and decided to reflect on them. I found myself satisfied with the quality of the recordings even though it was fuzzy and there were mistakes in the recordings. I was also surprised to have little or no recollection of most of the progressions i heard. i decided then just to transfer them onto the computer I now record on and write lyrics and see how they would turn out. The voices you hear on the recording in-between tracks and throughout "Too Hard to Take" were already on the tape i used to record. I found the tape in a box of tapes someone was throwing away and just decided to use it. I had to slow the voices down to understand them, and after that I did some cutting and pasting to change the content and fucked with the quality of the words. Though many flaws are included in the album i am still down with it and maybe one day will make other versions of the songs with higher quality.
